..Conquering all fears ~cinquain poem~

True love
Conquering all
Fighting, withstanding tall
Saving ruined, broken hearts from
  a fall
Guiding on every partners need
Trusting a lovers creed
 Gentle and kind
in deed

Special Thanks to: Princess Fiona
a Butterfly cinquain poem following with syllable
counts per line of: 2,4,6,8,2,8,6,4,2

Love feels no burden, thinks nothing of trouble, attempts what is above its strength,
pleads no excuse of impossibility. It is therefore able to undertake all things, and it
completes many things, and warrants them to take effect, where he who does not love would faint and lie down.

Though weary, it is not tired: though pressed it is not straightened; though alarmed, it
is not confounded; but as a living flame it forces itself upwards and securely passes
through all ~Kempis~

~Prayer * A Cinquain Challenge *.

Prayers

Silent whispers

Ascending to heaven

Strings of hope to my vale of fears

and tears

Pray on, then, child of God, pray on; This is your duty and your task.
To God the answering belongs; Yours is the simpler part ~ to ask.

You have forgiven me
too many times it seems
I feel I'm not what you might call
a worthy Christian after all
And though I love you so temptations
finds it's way to me

Teach me to trust in You
with all of my heart
to lean not on my own understanding
coz' I just forget
You won't give me what we can't bear
Take me out of the dark My Lord
I don't want to be there

*-Warrior-* The Cinquain Challenge

 Warrior
Heroic, tough, vigorous
Fighting, defending, abiding
Experienced and trained for battle
Conqueror
~Sie~

It is my first attempt to do a Cinquain poem. Another challenge after the fibonacci challenge from Princess Fiona @ The Princess Passions. This is my little contribution to your challenge Princess I hope I pass your test. This Cinquain poem is a short introduction to my next fibonacci hehehe..it is already saved on my drafts weeeee..*blushing* I don't know but this is harder for me than writing a fibonacci because it is composed of shorter words. I am always used to writing long ones huhuhu..*blink blink*
Rules: Provided by Princess Fiona~
Line 1: One noun (a person, place or thing)   This will be the subject of your Cinquain

Line 2: Three adjectives which describe the noun of line one.
Line 3: Three descriptive gerunds, which are verbs (action words) + ing.
Line 4: One complete sentence that relates to your subject.

Line 5: One noun which is a synonym of the first noun in line one.
Thank you Princess Fiona for introducing us again to another form of poetry. I am looking forward for more *hugs*
