..Happiness*

What is your measurement of happiness? What are the instances that make you happy? Are you happy with the life that you are in now?

Many people live in constant despair. They are always sad, frustrated, and always having reasons that are keeping them from being happy. The truth is we don’t have to wait for everything to be in order or for all our problems to be solved. We don’t have to forgo happiness until we lose weight, accomplish our goals, and have a happy family or being loved by someone.

Happiness is a choice. When we wake up in the morning, we can smile and choose to be happy or grumble. It is up to us. We should not make the mistake of allowing our situations to dictate our happiness.

I have been through a lot of tough times and all of which gives me every reason to be upset and give up. But being unhappy won’t change anything.  Being grumpy, sad and depressed isn’t going to improve anything either. We might as well choose to be happy and enjoy life!

Having the tough times of my life I learned to live one day at a time; better yet make the most of every moment. It is good to have plans for our future but if we are always living in the future we may miss and enjoy the present that God wants us to.

Let us all learn to enjoy  with those people whom we love. Happiness is a decision we have to make. Not an emotion we feel. Certainly there are times in our lives when bad things happen, or things don’t turn out as we had hoped. But deciding to be happy amidst the circumstances we are going through will help us make our life’s journey easy :)

..Persistent *

Praying
Forbearingly
Whispering calmly
Hidden fears crying
Her buried sufferings still unheard
Silence and flooded tears where her only armour
Enticement of giving up is strong and her soul can't be awakened anymore
She was battered, bruised, hated and harassed that made her weak
with bitter weeds of strife and misbeliefs of agonizing defeat
Yet her enduring faith won't fail though forced down by her ruthless foes
She still stands despite her tormenting earthly woes
Heavy troubles made her whole
Unveiling  purest soul
The beauty
Inside
Her

“The most beautiful people I've known are those who have known trials, have known struggles, have known loss, and have found their way out of the depths.”
― Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

“And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”
― Haruki Murakami

Things will work out fine
If you can find the courage
To look past the light
To see the break of dawn

I just wanna breathe again
Learn to face the joy and pain
Discover how to laugh a little
Cry a little, live a little more

I just wanna face the day
Forget about the walls of yesterday
Maybe if I hope a little
Try a little more
I’ll breathe again

**Through My Eyes..double acrostic poem

Music dances with the beat of our hearts

Yearning for the immortal notes of love

Evolving through this melody of twists and sway

You and I have found harmony to thrive

Endless steps and fearless swings made us stay

Seeing through my eyes, our dance of love on it's lifetime rhythm

“Dance as though no one is watching you. Love as though you have never been hurt before. Sing as though no one can hear you. Live as though heaven is on earth.”

..Conquering all fears ~cinquain poem~

♥
True love
Conquering all
Fighting, withstanding tall
Saving ruined, broken hearts from
  a fall
Guiding on every partners need
Trusting a lovers creed
 Gentle and kind
in deed

a Butterfly cinquain poem following with syllable

Love feels no burden, thinks nothing of trouble, attempts what is above its strength,
pleads no excuse of impossibility. It is therefore able to undertake all things, and it
completes many things, and warrants them to take effect, where he who does not love would faint and lie down.

Though weary, it is not tired: though pressed it is not straightened; though alarmed, it
is not confounded; but as a living flame it forces itself upwards and securely passes
through all ~Kempis~
